Music That I Like

Music That I Make

One of my favourite types of music is the music that I create myself. I spent much of my youth in a band trying to be the next Fugazi/Nirvana. We split up ages ago and the world is probably a better place for us having done so; but to find out more about what I do and what the band used to do click here. I recently switched from guitar to drums which I've found extremely therapeutic. To find out about my current band, Fracture Pattern, click on our logo:

Music That I Listen To

During this undefined period of time, I have been mostly listening to:

Foo Fighters : Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
High On Fire : Death is This Communion
Marillion: Friends/Family
Tyr: Ragnarok
Candlemass: King of the Grey Islands
Marillion: Friends/Family

At the risk of revealing just how anal and trainspottery I really am. I have a list of all of the CDs I own (really, I have to have this in case my house burns down and I want to persuade my insurance company that I actually do have 100s of CDs). The sad part is I've rated them (well, most of them) so you really can discover what I have listened to over the past 25 years or so. The rating scale is simple, the best CDs go up to 11, 10 is an exceptional album, 7-9 is pretty damn good, 4-6 is pretty mediocre, 1-3 is shite, 0 means stick it it in a microwave because watching the blue sparks is more entertaining than having your ears insulted by this turd. These are a Few of My Favourite Things

For those with better things to do than look through lists of my CDs, here's a sample of my favourite ever albums.
